After a lovely day Saturday the boys tidied up and prepared for a night out in Ocean City, Md. Our destination: Seacrets our Pilot: Chris Prifte (Legend). We arrived at Seacrets with high hopes, hearing that it is one of the most insane bar/clubs on the East Coast. The Freedom Tour was not to be dissapointed, the establishment was obnoxiously large and crowded. From the moment Steve Prifte screamed, "Swine Flu!!!" on line to get into the bar to a gaggle of 15 people walking down Route 1 shouting the National Anthem at 3:00 am, we had a great time. Our good fortune would quickly turn to bad luck when it became nearly impossible to find a cab back across the Delaware boarder. Genivieve Prifte was forced to call the Legend himself to pick us up, within 30 seconds Mr. Prifte was there in "Old Glory" and we were on our way. Two miles from home an ominous ticking sound began to resonate from the front left quadrant of the bus...Then BANG! We blew a tire. Mr. Prifte quickly steered the beast into a parking lot where it had to lay till first light. First thing next morning the Legend was on the ball along with the help of "Road Warrior" and "Shueburt" to remedy or misfortune. We quickly found an open tire center that just happened to have our rubber in stock. We jacked up "Old Glory" threw on the new wheel and were departing the Prifte residence by 3:00pm.
The drive to The brant house was spectacular as we enjoyed the best scenery the D-Ware countryside had to offer. As soon as we arrived we were again greeted with frosty cocktails courtesy of Mr. Brants (legend II) Kegerator. After a beautiful evening boating on the bay we headed out for a night on the town in Annopolis. We are currently enjoying the Brant Family's beautiful bayside abode, and plan to depart early tuesday morning for the long haul to South Carolina
Till next time, God Bless America!!!
Road Warrior over and out.
P.S. A very special thanks to the tremendous hospitiality of the Prifte and Brant clans. We truly appreciate you holding us up in your beautiful homes.
